Natural Resources

Sison is endowed with rich natural resources. A large percentage of limestone and shale reserves are found in Barangay Labayug and being developed by the Northern Cement Corporation. Said minerals are expected to last up to 200 years with grade of 80 – 90% CACO8.

Still untapped non-metallic ore is suspected to be abundant in barangays Alibeng, Calunitan and Dungon.
