go sison go! God bless to the new leaders! by:julius gat-eb Date Posted:2010-07-15
I am Art dela Cruz of Gumot, Rosario, La Union. I was Barangay the Secretary of Inmalog for nine years under the administration of Brgy. Captain Florentino Marquez, Sr. and Mario Gaongen. Inmalog at that time was realy in peace and very progressive through the leadership of this two Barangay Captains. Projects from different sectors pours in through their efforts. Inmalog was really great under their leadership.
Last month during their Barangay Fiesta, I was surprised, Inmalog was not the Inmalog I left four years ago. It was really a very big surprised to me for after four years, I saw that Inmalog was really very big different when I left.
I was their Guest Speaker on the first night of their celebration.
Thank's to the leadership of my compadre Virgilio Marquez, the Barangay Captain now and the son of my former boss Florentini Marquez, Sr. for making Inmalog one of the most admired Barangay in Sison. I salute and congratulate him for his great effort for making Inmalog, if not the best but one of the best.
"Pare Karyo, kitaem man bassit ta adda manen problema in Kapitan". Kababain manen daytoy nga inaramid nan.
Thank's to this website...Congratulations to all the winners of the past election especially to madfam KIMI..keep up the good work and GOD bless to all. by:Art dela Cruz Date Posted:2010-07-06

Now that the election is over and winners officially announced. Congratulation, Congress Woman Carmen Cojuangco!!!! As you preparing to exit the Mayor’s Office and anticipating entering the House of Representative; thinking what you’re about to leave behind and your about to go into? I can I assure you, your leaving a big MARKED! You help put Sison on the Map, along with the people with new hope. With your new job, you have a long road ahead you! Just like before you will PERFORM WITH CLASS, like a high end Cadillac always in over drive mode! May the FORCE be with you like what they say in Star Wars! by:Prescilla Date Posted:2010-05-22
My deepest gratitude to you Loejan. You made a lot of people happy and proud to be Sisonian! I don’t expect the prompt response from the Mayor’s office. Let alone my request is granted. It could be I’m just out of touch how things work now? I appreciated sharing me your adventure with the Mayor in Antong! If you could show the pictures you are talking about, you can send it to me at precythomason@yahoo.com. If you feel like it is not appropriate I understand.
I can only imagine lakay Karyo breathing in your neck (ha ha ha) while reading my post. I will tell you a little secret. Sssshhh…..you want to know his real pet name from us before? Is OH NGAL LATE…..I hope I got it right? His always late…. Sir, I don’t mean any disrespect. You’re great and your still got my vote. Until next time.
by:Prescill Date Posted:2010-05-21
Prescilla,
Lakay Karyo will be surprised how I got his "berngas". You know, he was so happy when I showed him your message. After reading it loud to him, he started recalling those years he spent in Inmalog as a teacher. he even admitted that if they do not have something for lunch, he shove his student to the river to catch fish, ha ha ha.
BTW, I sent you some pics of our visit in Antong thru your yahoo add. Karyo ordered some members of the CVO (barangay tanod) to catch fish in the river and all they got were those inside the white plastic bag - a mixed catch. by:Loejan Date Posted:2010-05-21
I would like to say a brief story about my background. I was born in Inmalog. I came from the Padua family. For the anonymous who posted about Kagawad Padua, no offense taken that is politics. I’m residing here in the US (Dallas Fort Worth area), for more than 25 years now. Is that been long? Like most of you growing up in very humble existence, I’m one of those kids, day dreaming what life leads me in 20 years? All I can say God is good, I can’t complain.
I used to enjoy the town fiesta, the parade during the day and aahh... the queen coronation at night! I remember when the fiesta is just right around the corner; I will do my best to raised money for myself to ensure I can get in the movie, ride the rides and eat halo-halo. After I’ve done all the usual things, I count money to make sure I have enough to buy balloon, singkamas or watermelon to take home and of course for the Jeep to take me back home. Those were the innocence days…Although things are different now, as I can see on this site, I’m sure a lot of you can relate with my story.
Like I said in my first post I will get back to you all. Well, I read pretty much everything in the site. I have to admit I have a mix feelings but over all I’m excited of the changes and progressed of our town. It’s a big moved to our town to have its own website. Thanks to the technology, World Wide Web. Now one click of your keyboard you feel like your back home. You can see what is going on politically, who is in jail (just kidding) and among other things. With the Sison website and Google Earth, I feel like I’m home like no other before.
Miss Kimi, where have you been in our life? I salute you! I was amazed of what you’ve done specially the social work you implemented. Without you I don’t know if my brother completed his high school education. You brought a light to a badly lit town. Based on your accomplishment and written thoughts you let us see your vision for Sison! At first, I’m disappointed that you’re leaving the office of Mayor. But come to think of it, your new endeavor will eventually benefit Sison.
Although, you only served a very short time, you have done more than two full terms! Reading your 100 days of office, your father in-law (Ambassador Danding), described you as a JACK BOUER (the 24 TV show, one of my favorite show) it made me laugh so hard!! You just like an Evil Step Mom, once she got a hold of the house, she can’t wait to clean up and throw away all the junks collecting dust in every corner! Demolishing, replacing and getting rid of the undeserving, implementing and changing policies!! What a mad woman! I meant that in a good way. I’m pretty sure you stepped on so many toes along the way.
I wish you and your family the very best and thank you so much for all the good deed you have done and I hope your successor will continue your good works.
Reading further of your written thoughts, you said something that touched my heart! I could not have said it any better of what you said about Antong Falls. I feel exactly how you feel about the place. I never thought someday, someone will pledge to protect it. I always thought Antong falls deserved preserving. Like what you said god given gift to the town. I’m so lucky to live around the falls when I was young. I remember how clean and serene the place is. The waterfalls running through, shrimps swimming around and wild orchids rooting in every tree, what an escape! I have to confess though, with all the times I visited home. I never step a foot in the place. Maybe because the feedback I got from old friends. According to them the place is not like what it used to be or my way to preserve my beautiful memories of that place. Next time I visited home the first thing I will do is to visit the place.
Before I stop my bubbling, I can’t help but to mention my former fifth and six grades teacher, Mr. Inocencio Carganilla, better known as a lakay Karyo. Thank you, what you have done and your ongoing work for the Tribal Scholarships. So many kids benefited with this program including my nieces and nephews.
I always want to get in touch with you every time I’m there but due to my limited time I never did get a chance to visit you. I always admire your brilliant mind I know someday you’re going to high places when given the chance. Base of what I see on this site I was right. Wow, you’re now rubbing elbows with one of the prominent family of the country. Way to go lakay Karyo and kudos to you!
Now, one request please……. Whoever in charge of map or what have you, could you please do something or fix the official list of Barangay? How come Inmalog is not listed? In my book Inmalog is one of the barrio which hold Pinalpal, Ubbog, Galuga, Antong and Kanit as setios. To make the matter worse in other area Inmalog is listed as one of the barangay however, is listed next to Taratara. If you write it in alphabetical order isn’t it letter I comes first before letter L? I’m very offended! I hope its clerical error not intentional? Here in the US there are more or less 20 of us came from Inmalog. I’m pretty sure if they see it they will feel the same like I do.
Again thanks a lot to former mayor Kimi and the people who worked under her during her administration. Best of luck to you all!

Prescilla,
What a nice reminiscence that touched all of us here at the mayor's office. True, mayor Kimi shares your concern and love to Antong. She set specific rules for its strict upkeep and preservation. The members of the Barangay Council and the Civilian Volunteers Organization were also given strict orders to maintain peace and order in the area. I wish I can send you pics of what were caught in the river during mayor Kimi's visit.
With regards to the omitted name of beautiful Inmalog in the list of barangays in our official web, I assure you madame that it was merely an unintentional error. I will personally attend to your request immediately after obtaining the details and facts from the the Municipal Planning and Development Office.
Lakay Karyo is currently reading your comment like an owl perched on my shoulder (ha ha ha). He says thank you too for remembering him. he says that he looks forward of meeting you when you come home for a visit.

Prescilla,
I've already posted all the details re Barangay Inmalog in the list of all barangays. The data given me is an update last 2007.
I look forward to hearing you again in our official web. by:Loejan Date Posted:2010-05-20
Wow, I'm so happy to come across My Sison website! Have to go back from the start and get back to you all. by:Precilla P. Thomason Date Posted:2010-05-13
As a former resident of Sison back in 1970, I'm so impressed after looking through the website, how this current administration has totally shown total dedication in their job in keeping up with technology to show off that no matter how small Sison is, it's made a mark on the map. Way to go Mayor by:Wilma Busto Perez Date Posted:2010-05-10
This is just a feedback to Kgd. Padua and Lawin Group tungkol sa ikinakalat nilang sulat. I assure you Mr. PADUA, MATATALO KA!!!!! WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR YOU!!!! YOU ARE SELFISH!!!! To present admin. Good Luck and God Bless!!!! by:Anonoymous Date Posted:2010-05-04

hi.i've been browsing our town's official website and came across with the list of barangays. i can't seem to find INMALOG in the list? someone close to me who's from that place is asking if inmalog is still part of sison. i think he was offended when he can't find his barangay in the list. can u please enlighten us on this matter? or is it just a lay-outing error? i hope for an immediate response regarding this matter. Thanks. by:Michelle Date Posted:2010-04-22
I,m a concern resident of Brgy Inmalog, I so happy to see this website but I was a little disappointed when I saw that the Inmalog was not included in the official list of brgy in sison. I very much appriate if this can be clarified if possible.. thanks by:Anonymous Date Posted:2010-04-22
Honorable Mayor, can you please give attention to the problem of LSB-Teachers which is the always late or delayed salary. We know that the problem is not with you but it's with the person in-charge in the payroll and most especially to the TREASURER. Every month we never tried to receive our salary on-time which should be every 1st Friday of the Month. Like now it's almost end of April but we're not yet able to claim our March salary. Ang masakit pa nito madam, pag pumupunta kami sa Munisipyo para kunin ang sahod namin ay hindi pa maayos ang pakikipag-usap nila sa amin kahit napakaayos ng salita namin. They treat us na parang hindi kami nakapag-aral at parang napakataas nila kumpara samin. Please madam do an action regarding this matter. We believe in you. More power and God Bless!!! by:LSB-Teachers Date Posted:2010-04-19
