December is here! I feel it in the air… Days are shorter and mornings are colder. The children that visit our “feria” site are bustling with excitement (I hear them when I open my capiz windows in my office). Municipal employees are busy putting up our Christmas lights and our twenty-eight feet Christmas tree. This Christmas tree is the first thing that will greet you as you drive into the municipal town hall. The whole town is all getting ready to celebrate our town fiesta. This will take place exactly ten days before Christmas.
What is all this excitement about? I believe it is about HOPE and THANKSGIVING. As we celebrate the birth of our Lord JESUS, we are celebrating life. Let us all be like Children… bright eyed and thankful for every blessing that comes our way. Let us never give up in trying to reach our goals for the town of Sison. Let us all climb that mountain together. After all, as far as I am concerned, as long as we are together, as long as we are armed with FAITH and Hope “There Ain’t No Mountain High Enough!”
