Six thousand delegates from twenty two municipalities and one city are expected to attend the 34th Eastern Pangasinan Boy Scouts of the Philippines Council Jamborette at Barangay Bila, Sison, Pangasinan from February 4 to 8, 2009. This prompted the Honorable Congressman, Mark O. Cojuangco, and Mayor Kimi to call the attention of all engineers under their command to make haste in providing the necessary requirements and needs of the activity. Municipal staffs were also given separate shares of the many tasks in an aim to assure comfort to the delegates, especially the young scouts.
The La Union Electric Company (LUELCO) now currently fast tracks electrification. Nipa huts for the medical staffs, security personnel and HQ staffs, construction of comfort rooms and installation of waterlines are underway.
