HARD RAINS IMPEL ACTING MAYOR TO CANCEL CLASSES IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN SISON

The unpredictable rains severely pounding rooftops, drenching streets, and overfilling canals for some days now situated the Acting Mayor, Hon. Bensaulozacheus L. Marinas, to declare cancellation of classes in all levels in public schools in his entire area of influence. Immediate oral instruction was also given to the District Supervisor, Dr. Eliza O. Rosino, to notify all school heads to comply with the directive.
The Acting Mayor said, “Ito ay para maiwasan ang disgrasya sa mga bata na nagtatawiran sa mga kalsada lalong-lalo na sa mga eskwelahan na nasa highways!” (This is to eliminate accidents that could happen to the children crossing the roads particularly those in schools situated along the highways).
The Acting Mayor also instructed for a standby of all the Municipal Disaster Coordinating Council for possible untoward incidents that the hard rains may bring forth. The two-way radios were also checked and activated.
