Government officials of the province headed by the assiduous Governor, Hon. Amado T. Espino, Jr., and the 5th District Mayors along with their Vice Mayors and Sanggunian Bayan members, all joined in to show support to the grand activity that in its inception was an ordinary basketball tournament but turned a historic event and gained positive reception from the crowd that packed the stadium. The prime movers of the game were the officers and members of the Association of Barangay Kagawads (ABAKA) of Sison in their aim to establish close ties and camaraderie among Barangay Kagawads of the district.
