 Mayor Kimi’s cry for help heard by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, ABONO Party List and 5th District Representative
The National Government approved the immediate release of Four Hundred Million Pesos (P400,000,000.00) aid for the province of Pangasinan which was directly hit by typhoon Cosme, elders claimed the worst ever to be recorded in the history of typhoons that hit Pangasinan.
From the amount released, Sison will be allocated ample amount for the rehabilitation of schools damaged by the typhoon.
The growing economy of the province is greatly hurt due to massive destructions on infrastructures, agribusiness and industry.
Mayor Kimi’s early move resulted in the early dispense of aid from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce thru the intercession of the Honorable Board Member, Danilo C. Uy. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce doled out relief goods for Sison. The ABONO Party List thru the initiative of Engr. Rosendo So also doled out relief aids. The Office of the Honorable Congressman, Mark O. Cojuangco, gave 70 for Sison from the 100 cavans of rice allotment for the 5th District.
Mayor Kimi still incessantly knocks on doors of friends and munificent individuals for aid.
