The Grade V Homeroom PTCA officials, under the active leadership of Mrs. Emily Amboni, expresses gratitude to the acting Vice Mayor, Hon. Eric Biason, for the cement assistance he gave for the installation of railings and balusters in front of the newly constructed Mark O. Cojuangco building at Artacho Elementary School, Artacho, Sison, Pangasinan. Mainly, the move is to put barriers and stairs on the steep frontage which is always a threat to the safety of the school children and teachers. The effort is also to beautify the Grade V room which is being readied for the nearing Science Rooms Competition to be carried out this month of September by the Dep-Ed.
The honorable municipal icon developed a predilection in assisting public schools that eventually benefits the school children. He accented that the welfare of public school children must be given top priority because most of them belong to underprivileged families and the support coming from the national government is inadequate. He also admires the Honorable Congressman, Mayor Kimi and Board Member Uy for their courageous initiatives in rehabilitating the educational system of public schools in Sison by necessitating the school teachers to undergo trainings conducted by professors and dean from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.
