Constant visit of typhoons tarry town square’s completion…
The aim of the town square’s total renovation is to fashion a place where no walls divide the people of Sison and it will be a place where every constituent can be part of a play, but the weather hadn’t been very accommodating these past several weeks impeding its completion. The round-the-clock struggle to cope during fair days and massive efforts to finish the project within the allotted time frame hastened Engineer Jun Lacsinto’s beards to grow thrice as fast and the “Top Gones” of Sison are already pre-arranging a welcome bash for him.
Most outside projects were temporarily brought to a standstill and all engineers and their men were summoned to concentrate in the speedy completion of the town plaza under the overall supervision and direction of Engr. Jun Lacsinto. Engr. Jonar Manaois is tasked to provide all the needed heavy equipments and to fast track the installation of monopoles in all barangays to access the entire municipality of Sison with free internet. Engr. Archie Delim is responsible in laying out underground pipelines, electrical wirings and drainage canals. He is also charged to handle the ground elevation.
According to Mr. Eleuterio “Keong” Reyes who is monitoring all ongoing Sison infrastructure projects, including those activities of the Department of Agriculture, the town’s plaza will be segmented into two. On the southern part will stand an open theater and its northern portion will be converted into a park. “A lane will also be constructed around the plaza for pedestrians,” Mr. Keong added.
